Our youth and children add a vibrant and lovely component to our life together. We encourage and welcome them to share in leading and participating in worship and also have time for them to engage in learning, growing and playing at their age level during the sermon time.
Other intergenerational activities include our Walk through Holy Week, the Mardi Gras and hosting the "Kids Zone" at our sales. The Sunday School regularly contributes hundreds of dollars to outreach projects that help children, locally and abroad.
During the 10:30 am service we incorporate children into the service encouraging them to serve as greeters and readers. There is a room in the church where children can explore games, books and activities supported by a youth leader during services if they wish.
