The Rector and members of our Pastoral Care Committee provide care to members of our congregation who may be experiencing difficulties in their lives. Through this ministry, parishioners can alert clergy to people's needs for personal support and counselling, in-home communion, or sick visits. Help can also be arranged to provide rides to church and appointments, and company for lonely and isolated parishioners. Additionally, individual parishioners reach out regularly to frail and shut-in fellow church members and update them on parish events. Through these calls, from time to time pastoral needs among call recipients are uncovered.
Members of the Pastoral Care Committee also assist our Rector in providing monthly communion to Anglican residents of Broadmead Lodge, a local retirement home.
